Mizoram is a state in Northeast India, with Aizawl as its capital city. The name is derived from "Mizo", the name of the native inhabitants, and "Ram", which means land, and thus Mizoram means "land of the Mizos".Within the northeast region, it is the southernmost landlocked state, sharing borders with three of the Seven Sister States, namely Tripura, Assam and Manipur.

AIZAWL

Aizawl is the capital of the state of  Mizoram in India. With a population of 293,416,it is the largest city in the state. It is also the centre of administration containing all the important government offices, state assembly house and civil secretariat.

The district is bounded on the north by Hailakandi district of Assam state, on the west by North Tripura district of  Tripura state and Bangladesh, on the south by Lunglei district and on the east by Kolasib and Aizawl districts. The district occupies an area of 3025.75 km².

REIEK

Reiek is a mountain and tourist spot 29 km from Aizawl, Mizoram, India. It rests at an elevation of 1548 metres overlooking Aizawl and offers a view of the surrounding valleys and hills. On a clear day the plains of Bangladesh can be seen from the top of the hill.

Serchhip is the headquarters town of Serchhip district in the Indian state  of Mizoram, and also the headquarters of Serchhip Sadar subdivision. It lies in the central part of Mizoram, and 112 km away from the State capital city of Aizawl.

Siaha is a census town in Siaha district in the Indian north-eastern  state of Mizoram. It is the Headquarters of the Mara Autonomous District Council, one of the three autonomous district councils within Mizoram.

TAMDIL

Ṭam Dil is a reservoir lake situated 6 km from Saitual, the nearest town, and 64 km from Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram, India. In Mizo language, the word Ṭam is a contraction of anṭam, which means a mustard plant; and Dil means "lake".

LUNGLEI

Lunglei is a town, situated in the south-central part of Mizoram state, northeastern India. Lunglei, sometimes spelled Lungleh, literally meaning 'bridge of rock' got its name from a bridge like rock found in the riverine area around Nghasih - a small tributary of the river Tlawng.

Kolasib is agriculture-dominated economy with a few service sector jobs as it is a district capital. A large number of people cultivate beetle nut, oil palms, rice, wheat and fish which is both consumed and exported to other districts of Mizora.

The Vantawng Falls (called Vantawng Khawhthla in Mizo language) is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of Thenzawl in  Serchhip district in the Indian state  of  Mizoram. It is the highest uninterrupted waterfall in Mizoram.

Champhai is a border town in Mizoram  state, in far eastern India. It is the headquarters of Champhai district, one of the eight districts in the state. It is located on the Indo-Myanmar border and is situated in a strategically important location.

HMUIFANG TIANG

Hmuifang is a tourist spot near Aizawl,  Mizoram. It is about 50 km from Aizawl  With an elevation of 1619 metres, the mountain is still covered with virgin forests reserved since the Mizo Chief's time. Hmuifang is on the way to Lunglei.

PHAWNGPUI PEAK

Phawngpui, also known as Blue Mountain is the highest mountain peak in the Lushai Hills and in the state of Mizoram, with an elevation of 2157m.  It is located in Lawngtlai District, in the southeastern region of Mizoram near the Myanmar border.
